The Court of Appeal's 2 October 2019 judgment has finally been released.

Not surprisingly, the Court dismisses the appeal by Mr Reay, and in the process makes a number of useful comments about contract interpretation.

The new Government procurement guidelines for construction projects over $9 million come into force on 1 October 2019. The aim is to set new guidelines to improve behaviour of government agencies, and the progress the aims of the Construction Sector Accord.
